Oh y’all, I hadn’t realized it had been so long since I actually blogged….but time definitely got away from me.
Anyhow, I could promise I’ll do better, but I know better than that, so I’ll just say I’ll try 🙂
2015 was a great year and I accomplished a lot of what I set out to, but there were still some things I didn’t get finished. I have sooooo many blankets to finish because, well, I simply can’t help myself. I (or my enabler of a hubby) find amazing yarn combos and/or a new blanket idea comes to mind and I just have to try it. My plan is to finish most, if not all, of my blanket WiPs by the end of 2016 (seriously, y’all have no idea what a challenge I’m giving myself – I have at least a dozen in progress!)
Obviously I’m hoping to take on more commissions and perhaps actually turn a profit….but if I don’t, I still love what I do, and I’ll keep on doing it.
The biggest news so far is….. I am going to participate in my first ever craft fair!!! I’m super excited and incredibly nervous about it too. April 30, from 9a-3p local time, I will be down at MB Roland Distillary for their annual Vintage and Craft Fair! I’m super excited, but I have to admit I’m nervous I won’t get enough made for my booth….but I’m already planning and making, so I am ahead of the game so far 🙂 I really hope y’all will consider heading out to Christian County for the craft fair and come say hi!
So with that, I’m signing off and getting back to some knitting that’s been calling my name all day!
